1920s – 1940sSteep gables, clinker brick, the occasional turret. Concentrated in Mt. Baker, Madrona, Capitol Hill, and the older corners of the eastside.
Mid-Century PNW Modern
1945 – 1975Post-and-beam, glass to the trees, cedar siding inside and out. Built by people who'd seen what the Northwest light could do.
